Hanging in there pays off

I have told you earlier that I joined My Surveys or TNS . I was at 35 points and yesterday I got an interesting commercial survey worth 200 points($2)!
I also received a survey from Canada Talk Now and received 15 points for it.
I have become quite efficient at scrolling through my inbox, deleting all the junk and looking at the surveys offered. It is important to determine which are most worth your time and do those first. Now that I understand a bit more about the different companies I can figure out quickly which ones to take. I am not sure if time zones have anything to do with things, but I do notice that even when I respond as soon as I get the invitation, it is sometimes already full. I was offered a survey with Tulna, Survey Savvy(got an entry to the monthly draw), Survey Club and Research by Net but did not qualify. Research by Net gave me 10 points anyways.
I joined Survey Lion and Voice of the West. I am quite excited about Voice of the West as it is Canadian and British Columbia specific. Voice of the West is an Ispos Reid affiliate. I don't have much information to share yet, but I'll keep you posted.(I hear they do in person surveys that pay really well!)
I am quite happy with Lightspeed! There surveys are interesting, lots of commercial rating surveys, and I seem to qualify for most. They credited your points immediately and I now have 450 points. It seems like it won't be long for me to reach payout!
Payout for cash(they also do gift cards)is as follows. 1107 points = $10 PAYPAL
1660points =$15
2214points =$20
2767points =$25
3320points =$30

Learning the ins and outs: Surveyhead

So, an important thing to note...Surveyhead doesn't seem to email the newest surveys! I went on to check something and found I had 2 surveys I might qualify for! Also, they pay you to update your profile and this affects how many surveys you get, so update!!

Survey Review : Don't sign up for!

Learning as I go!!! A couple of quick lessons. Don't sign up for Survey 4 Income and Survey Downline! Both are U PAY US!
I receive many daily emails from ArcaMax and I am still trying to figure out if I should unsubscribe. I am very HAPPY that I have a separate email for this as it's all nice and tidy.
SurveyLion: I just signed up for this one. It doesn't describe clearly how much you get paid. Seems you can request a cheque any time. I will keep you updated.

Up to date profiles and latest news

So, after a short time of doing surveys I have learned lots! My gmail account is all nicely organized into Survey company folders. I am quick to review my email each morning to see which new surveys I have to do.
1.Today, I got several click ads for Snap Dollar and a survey for a kitchen makeover(survey is longish!).
2. I was finally smart enough to download Roboform! Give yourself a break and git r done! Way easier to fill out all these crazy forms!
3.Fat cat rewards sent me to Surveys4Income.com(looks like this is another U Pay Us site!) and Newoffersclub.com supposedly I would get a $10 sign up bonus for Surveys4 and $25 for New offers. New Offers sent me a click email which I was credited for only one of the three links. Cash out is at $50. Payment by Paypal. My balance is $25.25
4.I got a legit survey from Research By Net. It took 4minutes and I got 24 points. My total points are 39.
5.I went through my survey accounts and found several of them where my profile wasn't complete. An incomplete profile can hinder you from getting surveys.
6.Mommy Talks pays you to update your profile! Between .23 and .53 for each category. My balance at Mommy Talks $9.00.
7.Surveyhead also pays you to update. My balance $13.71
8. Some USA only survey sites Survey Spot and Pinecone.
9.The freebie fix has some great freebies for Canadians. The newsletter is short with 4-5 freebies! I like it.

Survey Review Research by Net

Research By Net is an actual survey site it is for Canadians only. They pay you by points. You get 15 points for joining. After I joined 2 days ago I received a survey for 24 points, 5 if I was disqualified. It was supposed to take 10 minutes, it actually took 4 and was quite interesting(with pictures!). Their system is 400 points = $10 750 points =$25 1000 points= $50. So I guess I'm at about $1. They send you a cheque once you request one at a minimum of $10.
Their refer a friend is as follows :You will earn 50 NetPoints when a friend registers with NetPanel and completes their first survey. Plus, when your friend reaches 400 NetPoints we will credit your own account with another 100 points!. It's that easy.
Want to join? Email me and I'll send you a link.(you can do the same with someone you know and everyone will get referral points!)

Toluna 11274 points

Canada Talk Now sent me 2 surveys. One was longish and I received 10 points for doing it.

Junk ads...I have noticed that several of the ads I am receiving are just not interesting to me. I am getting to know the names and quickly sending them to junk. Next step, get off their mailing list. The nice thing about opening a new email is that it's confined to this spot.

Some junk Rick Thomas.

Survey Review Global Test Market

When looking at the your free survey forum I found people talking about getting paid by Survey Spot. I googled it and found a link. When I clicked on it it told me it wasn't available for my area.It is USA only. I was redirected and ended up on the site Global test Market. I signed up in only a minute or 2 and was sent a confirmation link. When I confirmed I was automatically given my first survey which took about 3 minutes tops. Then I received another short survey and several opportunities to update my personal profile. They are registered with the BBB.

This is what they say about themselves.

What rewards can I earn for taking online surveys?
Each invitation will tell you how many MarketPoints or Sweepstakes entries you will earn for completing the survey, or for participating but not qualifying for it. The amount of the reward will vary depending on two factors:
The urgency of the online survey -- more urgent surveys will offer higher incentives

The length of the online survey -- the more time required on your part, the larger the reward

MarketPoints These are rewards you will receive for most surveys when you qualify and complete them. Accumulate 1000 of these points and you can trade them in for $50 U.S. in cash (or the equivalent in your local currency if available).

Profile Surveys These surveys help us learn more about your background, habits, and hobbies. This confidential information enables us to send you more surveys that you qualify for and enjoy. Plus, you'll get a small reward just for telling us about yourself. Pretty cool, huh? You can find your Profile Surveys on your Surveys page on the GlobalTestMarket website.

Here is a survey I was offered.

This survey takes about 5 minutes.Your reward for completing it: 3 Daily and 3 Monthly cash sweepstakes entries

You Pay Us Surveys and updates

So, I am trying to keep it all straight, the emails I get from which survey company and to whom they refer me. Fat Cat Rewards sent me a "survey" which linked me to make money taking surveys. They are offering a special Deal to me only(ha ha) to join for just $34. I don't think I want to pay to earn money. Any one out there do this and make money? I'd love to know.
Fat Cat also links to Angus Reid which I have already signed up for. Part of the trick to this survey stuff is keeping track of what you have already signed up for and not wasting your time resigning. Today I checked my emails and realized I had missed the end date for one from Web Perspectives. I checked and found they had another one for me for 300 points. I answered a bunch of questions and found I did not qualify. When asked if I'd like another survey I was given one for 200 points. I answered the qualifying questions and qualified. I did the 20 minute computer survey(halls and partners) and am told I will get 200 points and entered into the $1000 sweepstakes! I was also emailed another WP survey for 300 points. I answered a bunch of vidoe game console questions and was told I do not qualify.

Survey Review Snap Dollars

Snap Dollars
I found Snap Dollars through the email Free Samples.ca
$5 sign up bonus
$30 to cash out
$3 fee for cashing out

Surveys are fairly simple. A bit longish. Must update account to get $5 sign up bonus. I did the survey for the kitchen makeover and hopefully made .75. It doesn't show pending amounts at all. I couldn't do alot of the free offers as they are to join surveys and I am already involved in lots of them.(NPD, Web Perspectives,

Survey Update Toluna

I have been receiving survey invites from Toluna. This one came today.

Today, we have an opportunity for you to participate in a survey about Your home. Everyone who qualifies and completes this survey will earn 24,000 Points!
If you don’t qualify, you will receive one entry to our NEW, monthly cash sweepstakes offering more chances to win, with three lucky winners of $2,500, $1,000, and $500, plus two prizes of $250!
I answered a few questions and then it asked if in the last year I had purchased the following:
Bathroom sink etc, boat, time share and so on. Nothing on the list was a purchase for us so I said no and I was disqualified from the survey!
Yesterday, I did a long survey(at least 30 minutes!!) and hopefully will receive 3000 points. That's a whopping $1! This survey today was worth $8! So, maybe if I hang in there?
They have a 600 point bonus for filling out your interest survey profile and if you do all of them you get an extra 2000 points. I now have 10569 points, or just over $3.00. I can cash out at 60000 points....Hmmm

Update What have I learned

Well so far I have learned that filling in online surveys can be a lot of work for little money and a waste of time! I am going to stick with it though and see what happens. As, I read other's experiences it sounds like if you hang in there you get the better paying surveys. One claimed they got a phone one for $200! I have found that it's really important to do the surveys as soon as you know about them as they expire! I have found that have 2 phone numbers is a good idea!

Survey Review Opinion Place US only!

I found this by reading a survey chat group post. Opinion Place is registered with the BBB which is always nice to see! Unfortunately, I didn't get far before I realized it's for US residents only!

My Points

My Points is a points based system. There is no sign up bonus. Points are earned by short opinion polls. Filling out your profile. Clicking on different sites. They have a daily spin wheel where you can win points. I have tried it daily and so far 0 every time! I have 200 points. Looks like 1500 points =$10 gift card.
This is what they say about themselves:

Earn Points for doing what you already do online: shopping, reading emails, playing games, searching the web, taking surveys, and more!
The more you do, the more Points you'll earn.
Email me and I'll refer you if you please.

Survey Review Hits 4 Pay

Hits 4 Pay
$10 sign up bonus
Emails sent to you and you must click on advertisers site. Here are their rules.

How do I get credit for the emails that I read?

To get credit for the ads sent to your internal mailbox, click on the button or link on the ad that will read "Click Here", or something similar. You will then be taken to the advertiser's website.
There will be a Hits4Pay banner above the website. You must remain on the advertiser's website for at least 60 seconds in order to receive $0.02 credit. After 60 seconds, an orange button that says Click Here to View Next Advertisement will appear on the Hits4Pay banner above the website. You must click on this button to receive your $0.02 credit!

When your first and second level members validate their email ads, you will also be credited $0.01 per email that they read and validate!

To cash out?

In order to be eligible for payment, you must submit a valid W-9 tax form, make sure your Hits4Pay account includes your PayPal address, and reach the minimum balance of $25.00.Once your account balance reaches $25.00 or more, it will be "zeroed out" on the 1st of the following month to pay out your commissions. That means your Hits4Pay account will show a $0.00 balance at this time.
If your account has been "zeroed out", your commissions will be transferred to your PayPal account on or around the 15th of that month!
In order to check the status of your payment, simply hover your cursor over the My Account tab at the top of the page, and select Payment History from the drop-down menu.
I have received only a few emails since I have started and so .04 is all I have made! Found out that if I change my account and interests(you chose 25) there is a better chance of more emails if you change your interests.Very, very easy, so I'll keep at it.

Survey Review Survey Head

Survey Head
Actual surveys you get paid to do.Registered with the BBB. $5 sign up bonus. You can opt to let your kids answer surveys also. My kids did 2 TV show previews. 22 minutes of watching a show and they answering about 10 questions about the show. Pay was $2.08 per show. It was a bit misleading in that it said the survey took 8 minutes, but didn't allow for the 22 minutes of the show. Pretty easy, straightforward stuff.

I have noticed that you can log in to your account(like what you see above) and it will show you surveys pending, but it there are also emails that contain different surveys. So, watch your emails.
Pays with Pay Pal. My balance is $13.71. Canadians need $26.60 to cash out. Seems like it's fairly possible.

Survey Review Toluna

Toluna

I learned about this site through Treasure Trooper and was paid $1 by them for joining Toluna. This is a points based site. Joining you get 500 points, which equals .25! The polls and quick surveys are 15-60points. I presently have 2419 points! Which isn't even one dollar!

Points awarded for survey completion, personal interest surveys (formerly called profiles), and other participation on Toluna.com are awarded in point values where 3,000 points = $1. Points automatically convert to cash values whenever you request a payment. You can request payment when you have reached a minimum account balance of $20, or 60,000 points. Payments will be made in multiples of $20. For example, if you have a balance of $22, and request a check, you will receive payment for $20, and have $2 remaining in your account.

My son was sitting with me as I explored the site trying to find out how many points (60,000 to cash out)=$1. When we finally found the above info, he said, it's not worth your time mom!

Surveys for Canadians Treasure Trooper

As I searched the Internet to learn more about surveys and making money from home by doing them, I found there was not much real info, especially for Canadians. I decided to do a test run and let you know what I found after one month of filling out surveys!

Step One: Get a new email address. I did this through gmail.

Step Two: Find the surveys to join!

First Review Treasure Trooper

I joined this, there is no joining incentive(some pay for you to join). The surveys are mostly things you have to sign up and pay for. Some low paying surveys(.40) ask you to download and install a game. I have $1.60 pending, see below.
My Pending Offers
The following offers have been marked "Done" but have not yet been verified. The dollar amount, number of gold coins, and pearls shown will be added to your account once we receive confirmation that you have completed the corresponding offer.
Whether you won a pearl is indicated by a checkmark or cross. If you originally missed your chance to play the pearl-finding game after completing an offer, you may play now by clicking on the PLAY icon next to that offer.
Notice: Do not click the offer link again, unless you think you did the offer incorrectly and want to retry. Clicking the offer link will reset your "Claim Date."

Getting Paid
7. When do I get paid?Payments will be processed on the 15th-20th of every month for the previous month's earnings. This means that you will receive a monthly payment if your balance exceeds $20. If not, then your balance will be carried over to the next month.

The cash surveys gives you a chance to fill out 3 surveys with extra bonus for doing so. 2 out of 3 don't work in my area!
Signing up for this means you get emails for Armax which seem to be advertising and YOU WON click here, with oops offer no longer available!

This doesn't seem like a great use of my time! I'll keep you posted. Survey Sue
